Editing a target

Highlight a target, and then click Edit Target.

Type a brief description of the target (optional).

Enter the username and password.

	NOTE: The user must be part of the root group.

Select the checkbox if you want to validate the credentials and start the target discovery process when you create the target.

If HP SUM finds an update already running on the target, select whether to continue the update or cancel the update and use update planned in the current HP SUM session.

Click OK after entering the information to exit this page.
