Using the MegaRAID CacheCade Pro 2.0 Feature

MegaRAID Fast Path Advanced Software

The MegaRAID Advanced Software (Premium) are features that the HPE MR Storage Administrator supports on certain HPE Smart Array MR Controllers.

The MegaRAID advanced software includes the following features:

MegaRAID FastPath

MegaRAID CacheCade SSD Read Caching software

MegaRAID CacheCade Pro 2.0 SSD Read/Write Caching software

RAID 5 and RAID 6

The MegaRAID software licensing authorizes you to enable the MegaRAID advanced software features. By default, the MegaRAID Advanced Software (Premium Features) is enabled.

The Premium Features option on the Controller dashboard allows you to use the MegaRAID Advanced Software features.

Perform the following steps to use the advanced controller features:

1.	Select Actions > Premium Features on the Controller dashboard.

The Premium Features window opens.
