Scheduling Consistency Check

Perform the following steps to schedule a consistency check:

1.	In the Controller dashboard, select More Actions > Schedule Consistency Check.

The Schedule Consistency Check page appears.

2.	Set the Consistency Check Mode. The available options are:

Concurrent - Run consistency check concurrently on all logical drives.

Sequential - Run consistency check on one logical drive at a time.

Disable - Disables consistency check.

3.	Set the desired interval at which you want to run the consistency checks. The available options are:

Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Continuously.

Select an appropriate date and time range.

4.	Click Next.

The Schedule Consistency Check page appears which allows you to add logical drives on which you want to perform consistency check.

5.	Click Add Logical Drives.

The Available Logical Drive dialog appears which lists all the logical drives present in the selected array.

6.	Select the Logical Drive (s) on which you want to run the consistency check.

7.	Click Save.

Now consistency check will run based on the frequency/interval chosen by you. You can also monitor the progress of the consistency check operation. See Background Operations Support

8.	(Optional) If you want to perform a consistency check operation immediately, from the Controller View section, select the Logical Drive on which you want to perform a consistency check operation, go to More Actions> Start Consistency Check.

If you attempt to run a consistency check on a logical drive that has not been initialized, a confirmation dialog appears, asking for your confirmation.
